To efficiently store, locate, and distribute this variety of products requires organization … and speed. We introduced a new product labeling and slotting system designed to improve inventory management and customer service. In addition, the slotting system will eliminate multiple tasks that currently take place in wholesale food distribution. This will also improve service to you by reducing your incidents of mispicks, returns, and backorders. All this translates into time and money savings for you. Facilities Expansion In order to provide more efficient service to our clients, we recently added a 38,000 square foot expansion to our facility. It provides us with a larger refrigerated and dry goods warehouse, plus refrigerated docks to assure increased safety and integrity of perishable items. This expansion also includes a central refrigeration plant, high-cube storage for more pallet positioning per square foot, and high speed doors. The I Supply Company’s total size has been increased over 50% to 108,000 square feet.
